Research data you can lock, defend and trust.

I run electronic data capture for clinical and public-health research at AIIMS New Delhi. I define the fields, write the rules that guard them, close the queries they raise, and hand over a dataset an analyst can rely on.

What I own, end to end

Research data has a lifecycle, and it only holds if every stage does. These four are mine on every study.

Capture

Define the field before anyone fills it

Data dictionaries, permissible values, mandatory fields and duplicate prevention, agreed with investigators before the first record exists.

Validate

Catch the error at entry, not at analysis

Real-time entry validation, range and consistency checks, completeness review and project trackers that show what is still missing.

Resolve

Raise the query, then close it

Data-quality issues raised with investigators, tracked, and followed through to resolution rather than logged and left open.

Lock

Hand over something traceable

Version-controlled study files, training records, change logs and audit trails, so a clean dataset can be locked and defended.

Two maternal-health systems I own the data for

Built for the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. On both I was the bridge between investigators and the technical team: requirements, data definitions, validation rules and acceptance testing. Both demos open in the browser.

Experience

Clinical research coordination and data management since 2020, on a computer-science and IT background.

Project Officer (PTS-III, Non-Medical)

AIIMS, Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, New Delhi

  • Run the electronic data workflow for departmental research: REDCap-based capture, real-time entry validation, range and consistency checks, completeness review and project trackers.
  • Review study records and digital entries for data-quality issues; raise, track and close queries with investigators through to resolution, supporting clean and lockable datasets.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation — version-controlled study files, training records and change logs — for traceability and confidentiality of research data.
  • Standing point of contact for investigators, project staff and participating study sites; organise investigator meetings, training sessions and inter-site communication.
  • Departmental data owner for the Mother & Child Block platform, translating investigator requirements into data definitions, validation rules and role-based access controls.

Feb 2024 – May 2025

Research Assistant

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi
